I always thought the free market was something very magical. An entire open-air market that appears and disappears in hours, with an immense variety of colors, flavors and textures.

With that in mind, I developed the Xepa series of illustrations, a tribute to this typically Brazilian miscellany of fruits, greens and vegetables, crowned by a good pastel with sugarcane juice.
